hello valeyard-Vince can I please have your permission to use this comic strip for a pic im working on, I promise I'll add you as the person who drew it

Hello, Mr. Valeyard-Vince.I've been wanting to write to you for a long time and discuss something.

I will be brief and speak to the point.

The situation is such that a very long time ago I sent you the script of a comic book and have been waiting for a response from you ever since. I saw that you read this letter and since then I have been hoping for a dialogue to find out everything. I wrote a second letter (also a long time ago), but you haven't read it.I am patient and can wait as long as it takes, as long as it takes, but in this situation I do not know what to do. That's why I'm writing on your page so that you can see my message and POSSIBLY respond.

I understand that you are a very busy person-you create comics and do a very difficult job, but the results in the form of comics come out great. And you, as the main person, direct all important actions, you definitely receive letters from the likes of me, hundreds. Therefore, there are no complaints against you (if only a little).

But for me it's important-I've been coming up with a plot for a long time, I've done a lot of work, I've learned a lot, I even managed to draw a schematic draft in pictures. And now I'm working on new ideas (comics) and even a continuation of the plot of the comics I sent you (yes, I already have a clear plan for the 3rd part of this comic), so there are plans (I hope everything will work out). But the thing is that it is not clear what is next, because there is no answer from you, there is no clear understanding of whether my work is good or not accepted. It's a strange situation here, even I would say borderline. I mean, what's next? Is unknown…

That's why I'm writing to you here to find out everything. I understand that my message is getting in the way here, but otherwise I do not know how to contact you(. When you write to me or contact me, I will immediately delete this entry so that it does not interfere with you. I give my word, and I always keep them. I'm not looking for a conflict or a quarrel, all I want is to find out the verdict on this comic and discuss this topic.

All I'm asking is to talk about the comic book I sent you. I want to find out if he's normal or not, if I can finish him. I just need an answer. If it turns out that he was accepted, it will be cool if you tell me “no, he does not fit”-I will leave you alone, most likely forever, and I will not bother you, because I will get this answer and the situation will become clear.

Therefore, all I ask is to reply to this letter.Fair enough? It seems fair to me. I hope that I did not offend you, I said everything, I said everything as it is and it was not for my purposes to hurt you emotionally. Thank you for your attention if you read this.

Don't worry about it. You're not the only one Valeyard-Vince ghosted on. I'm a professional who wrote a spec script after having a dialog with him. Once I sent the script, Valeyard-Vince went silent. The guy didn't even have the decency to acknowledge he received the files.

In the industry, this kind of behavior is a GIANT red flag that the company is poorly run and unlike to pay.

Thank you for trying to cheer me up, it's very valuable, thank you. And alas, I understand the situation. And I understand that my last letter and all those letters that I sent will not be read. Although I tried on the scripts. I tried very hard. Eh-still waiting.

And honestly, it's sad. That is so attributed to those who are willing to try. I'm not even really interested in money-the main thing for me is that my ideas are listened to. But do you know what comforts me now, after your words? That's not the point-I thought the screenwriter was so-so. But your words show that it's not about me and I write well. Thank you for that.

I hope that one day there will be a result on these emails, as this is fair. What to say? I try to find the positive side in everything and hope, there will always be hope).

About the red flag-a little bit sharply, but here I completely agree with you. It's not good to do that to people.

I'm glad I could be of help. Never give up on your dreams. I had plenty of flaky editors ghost on my when I was first starting out, but I never let it stop me. As you can see, I did get published and I've continued working in the industry. I've been at this for almost twenty years:
